Anyim Pius Anyim To Speak At IV G20 Africa Infrastructure Conference In London by Orikinla(m): 1:31pm On Mar 19, 2015
Anyim Pius Anyim (GCON), the Secretary to the Government of the Federation is going to speak at the IV G20 Africa Infrastructure Conference at the Millennium Hotel Mayfair London during 27-29 July 2015.
Other key speakers include Professor Ken Ife, UKTI Minister, Dr Adesina Iluyemi, Director Nepad, Andrew Alli; CEO Africa finance Corporation; Nick Rouse, Managing Director of Frontier Markets Fund Managers, the Fund Manager of the Emerging Africa Infrastructure Fund (EAIF); Dr. Ken Ife, Enterprise Ambassador, Chairman of London Business Development Corporation, Member of Task Force on EU – AFRICA Business Summit (Co-chair of Trade Working Group); Nonofo Eziekel Molefhi, the Minister of Infrastructure, Science and Technology of Botswana and Baroness Lynda Chalker, the Chairperson for Africa Matters Consultancy.

Corporate Africa G20 Africa Infrastructure investment Conference is a high level international conference in its 6th year.
Major highlights of the conference includes a workshop by DfID (Department for International Development) to promote the UK's latest policy on partnering infrastructure in Africa; and the first ever Women of Africa in Infrastructure Workshop; hosted by UN Women and Leading Businesswomen of Africa looking at women of Africa contribution to primary infrastructure across the continent, including multi-billion dollar corporations contributing to oil and gas and energy. The Nigeria Secretary of State will also make presentation about "restoring peace and security to Nigeria and neighbouring nations to ensure that the push to achieve primary value adding infrastructure like the Lagos Blue Line Rail Project remains on track and sustainable".

In addition to looking at key investment projects currently ongoing in Africa including those partnered by the AFC and other "breaking technology" to leap frog more traditional infrastructure, the event will also bring key investors from G20 nations and renown experts from the African Development Bank, and the private and public sectors to contribute towards solutions for building capacity and multiple revenue streams in Africa's key infrastructure projects. Ministers participating include UK, Botswana, Nigeria, Ghana and South Africa. They will be contributing to the plenary session and workshops.
