I bliv some politicians seeing d handwriting on d wall wud want to attach to d APC publicly or privately before march 28 to guarantee them a soft landing when GMB wins.
All these high profile decampings and secret support for GMB also makes me to bliv that some of them have got feelers that indeed GMB harbours an unbending stance on corruption and may come come down hard on d corrupt, contrary to d slightly watered down stance that is being projected.

Lets hope though, i was in Uyo during the 2011 elections, udoedeghe actually pulled lot of weight and scared Akpabio like Buhari is presenting giving Gej but i was diaapointed with Udoedeghe's vote count

Forget that thing, Udohedeghe lost that election due to rigging, unmitigated violence and intimidation of ACN supporters by Akpabio and the PDP.

whether u admit it or not. Obong is a politician that knws the terrain of akwa ibom as a former gov. He definetely has structures and supporters. This is a big problem to pdp that is suppose to fully secure the small zone it can boast of knowing the north and west isnt in their control. Pdp are now spliting their few votes with timipre slyva(bayelsa) amaechi(rivers) obong attah(akwa ibom) oshomole(edo)

yoruba case is different, their son osibanjo interest is affected, so they have utmost task to secure him becos yoruba stand a chance at presidency to give their all. Ur idea would have been true if yoruba had nothing to gain or loose. But now whither ife ilesha, etc it is primary yoruba gain and all must be on deck, but in akwa ibom case it is different. The south south is just a comitte of states they are nt necessary one in language or tribe. Support comes individually on state to state basis

Relax and identify a metaphor where u read one. Well i'm not from Akwa ibom, i only had a long stay there and witnessed how politics was being played amongst u guys. Akpabio sure knows his onions either by crook or intimidation which makes me believe its not going to be an easy ride for the opposition.

Well l guess itz tym u changed ur believe toward dis partcular issue cuz dis tym around,trust me d battle is way bigger than him.

The man Arc. Obong Victor Attah I have immense respect for has goofed big time.


His strong stance, belief and eventual victory in favour of resource control in the face of intimidation from OBJ endeared the soft spoken but toughened politician to my heart.


History has it that he was among the 28 politicians that formed PDP in 1998 but as it is said in politics, there is neither permanent friend nor permanent enemies but only permanent interest.
