A survey done by Women’s Pro-Climate Federation for Buhari & Osinbajo Presidency 2015 has tipped General Muhammadu Buhari (rtd), the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate to win with a landslide over incumbent President Goodluck Jonathan of the Peoples Democratic People (PDP) in Saturday presidential polls.

The group tipped Buhari to win in 26 states and the FCT while Jonathan was tipped to win in 10 states only.
The data of the survey made available to our correspondent and signed by the Group’s president Mrs. Ekaete Enitan Sanusi suggested Buhari will secure at least 19,067,640 votes (61.77 percent) while Jonathan will garner 10,067,640 (35.39 percent).

The group noted that the projection and forecast of the outcomes of the March 28, 2015 Presidential Election are based on its codification of electoral opinions, dynamics and trends reflected in the scientific allocation of votes.

"The numbers are not accurate, do not approximate the actual votes and are outcomes of our empirical analysis, deep insights and rigorous surveys of the political landscape," the group said.

Based on its projections, Buhari should win in Adamawa, Bauchi, Bayelsa, Benue, Borno, Edo, Ekiti, FCT, Gombe, and Jigawa States. Others states tipped for APC include; Kaduna, Kano, Katsina, Kebbi, Kogi, Kwara, Lagos, Nasarawa, Niger, Ogun, Ondo, Osun, Oyo, Plateau, Sokoto, Taraba, Yobe, and Zamfara states.

The Women’s Pro-Climate Federation survey showed that President Jonathan would win in Rivers, Abia, Akwa Ibom, Anambra, Bayelsa, Cross River, Delta, Ebonyi, and Enugu states.

The group based its projection on anticipated voters’ turnout of 30,864,179.
