Polls that favour president Jonathan have been based mainly on the assumption that every state has the same numbers of voters. By implication, if 1000 respondents are interviewed per state as samples, the results of such polls lack credibility because it disregards the advantage associated with states with higher voting strengths. For example, using the same number of respondents in states like Bayelsa and Kano assumes that both states have the same numbers of voters whereas it is not so in reality. For pro- Jonathan polls to be credible and taken seriously, they need to allocate more correspondence to state with higher eligible voters. This is my opinion.
