President Goodluck Jonathan and the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, General Muhammadu Buhari, are at presently in a closed door meeting in Abuja.

DAILY POST gathered that the meeting is holding at the Sheraton Hotels and Towers in the nation’s capital.

Jonathan, the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in the March 28 presidential election, had during the week promised international election observers that he would meet with Buhari before the election.onathan said this was to stem the tide of violence noticed in the country in the last few weeks, a development international observers had raised concern over.

Jonathan and Buhari had met twice over the issue of violence in the upcoming elections during which they signed a peace accord along with other presidential candidates.
