The top contenders in the forthcoming March 28 Presidential election, President Goodluck Jonathan of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and Genenral Muhammadu Buhari of the All Progressives Congress (APC), have signed another peace accord in Abuja, Nigeria’s Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

In what has been called a peace meeting, the two candidates have met to sign another agreement, following the peace pact they both signed alongside other presidential candidates in January.

The meeting was brokered by the National Peace Committee for the 2015 General Elections, led by retired Gen. Abdusalami Abdusalami, and is aimed at extracting commitment from the leading candidates that the forthcoming elections will be violence-free.

They were accompanied to the meeting by the national chairmen of their parties.

The presidential candidates of all the political parties in Nigeria had signed an accord to prevent electoral violence before, during and after the February 14 elections.

The previous peace meeting had in attendance President Goodluck Jonathan of the PDP, General Muhammadu Buhari of the APC and Professor Oluremi Sonaiya of the KOWA Party amongst others.

Unless the members of OPC or other groups causing mayhem and flashes of trouble are dealt with the President's commitment to a violence free elections is shaky.

It has no legal enforceability. It is a limping agreement not to commit an illegal act -- violence, which ironic because they are not supposed to commit criminal offences in the first place.
Re: Buhari & Jonathan Sign Another Peace Agreement In Abuja (photo) by Koolking(m): 12:13pm On Mar 26, 2015
As an unbiased umpire in this whole election imbroglio, Buhari can never win election in Nigeria, not because he is corrupt, but because he is too clean and tough to rule Nigeria. The power that be, will see him lose for 'business as usual' to continue unabated.

Nigerians feigned 'Change', whereas they are not ready for change. Change should start within ourselves. Change in our orientation and approach to issues. Change in ethnic and tribal servitude as opposed to nationalism.

Nigeria's problem is endemic and will only take violence and bloodshed for the much needed change to be achieved. For now, with the same crop of people who rocked Nigeria's boat, found in both political parties (PDP/APC) change is nothing but a mirage.

A day of reckoning will soon come!

BREAKING NEWS: Alhaji Sani Musa the contractor who handled the contract for the Card Reader and PVCs on behalf of INEC has been arrested and detained by the DSS over spurious allegation that he is a supporter of General Muhammadu Buhari. The DSS drew that conclusion based on a Facebook update that was provided by Femi Fani- Kayode where the said Alhaji Musa declared his support for Buhari. He has been in detention since yesterday at the DSS headquarters where he is being coerced to release the codes of the card readers to the government. Unfortunately he does not have the codes as the agreement between the supplier, INEC and the Chinese manufacturer of the card readers was that the codes shall be kept secret and be known only to the Chinese until June 2015, before they release the codes to INEC. What is going on is a collaboration between the PDP led Government and the DSS to discredit the electoral process by questioning the credibility of the source of the card readers. Pray how does the political affiliation of the contractor affects the production of the card readers and the election proper? The truth is that the PDP are about to have a bitter taste of defeat and they are busy running from pillar to post to advert their impending doom, using state institutions against an institution of the state! Asta La Vista! Hasta La Victoria Siempre! Beware of Gbagbo for the ides of March has come! We must # ActNow to safe our democracy from the PDP Barracudas and presidential Bacchanalian! DAZZOL! !!!!!!

Every day new story, dem dey award contract to opposition party members? I just dey laff.

All Nigerians wake-up wherever you are for #change#!
Buhari and Osinbajo Can change this country and Nigeria will be better again. Yes they can do it. Don't let people deceive people party, deceive you. They are coming again!!! Shine your eyes well, OBJ, called them hawks that surround GEJ, Its has been proven that we are not moving forward for past 6 years now, all what they do is to recycle themselves and continue embezzlement of Nigerians money. You can see for yourself, people deceive people PDP party, that is their mentality. They said Buhari will take us back if elected President! Nigerians say it's a good decision to go back when you've lost your way on a 6 years. PDP journey where our destination as a nation is no longer visible. Please, Buhari, take us back to the era where:
1. One Dollar was less than one Naira. It is incredible today
2. Everything was on first come first serve basis.
3. There was zero tolerance for corruption.
4. Oil refineries in PortHarcourt, Warri & Kaduna were built & running at full capacity.
5. Anybody with questionable wealth was afraid to display it in public not spending 10billion naira to fabricate and air documentary on them on AIT and NTA.
6. There was Zero tolerance for indiscipline. Everything was in order.
7. Nigeria had no debt at all
8. Neglecting your children was a crime
9. Littering the public place was a crime.
10. Twenty oil depots were built and functioning.
11. Western world can't interfere into our nation.
12. Chad invaded Nigeria, we sent them packing but did not harness their Land
13. Our economy was NOT running on
14. We can sleep with our eyes closed because we were secured.
15. Countries like Indonesia and Malaysia need not to set example on how to deal with drug pushers
16. The Maitaseine Islamic Sect insurgency in the North was crushed on record time not 3weeks to election
17. We want those days when Buhari was a military Governor but did not amass illegal wealth.
18. We want those days when Buhari was a Minister of Petroleum but did not hire a private jet for N10 billion.
19. We want those days when Buhari was a Head of State but did not loot the Treasury. 20. We want those days when Buhari was Head of PTF but did not steal the Fund even in the days of Abacha when stealing was the order of the day.
Pls, Buhari & Osinbajo, take us BACK! We can't afford another 4yrs of waste in the hands of PDP!!! Take us BACK to the good old days of this our great nation.
