Ascon filling station lekki phase 1 on fire ( pls call fire service) Phote

The fire incident involved 2 tankers waiting to be off loaded one filled with fuel the other with diesel. as of 4pm the one of diesel is burning. the cause of the fire is till unknown. By 4:50 the fire service put all fire off.

So many cars burnt no known life lost yet.

But how did a filling station catch fire?

As in fire should be d last thn arund it.

As at late last year before this FS was opened, residences were still fighting it in court. I hope no other property has been engulfed.

What safety procedure could they have failed to observe to record this accident just a few months after launch?

1. This is someone's investment
2. This is close to the scene of the last robbery that killed four Nigerians
3. There is fuel scarcity because Nigeria is broke and can't pay subsidy to fuel marketers.
4. If this election was held in February 14, this would not have happened.

There's something about that Lekki junction and area.
Just this month 2 massive unfortunate incident occurred with exactly 2 week interval.
May God protect us from falling victim of fire and robbery and any other bad incident.

I'm not sure if is a diesel tank or fuel tank that is burning but is the tank in there at is about to off load. Its fire trapped all the cars in the filling station and across the road in Road 13. Fire covers most burning vehicles but at site there i saw at list 7 vehicles burning.
