My dear, the most common cause of foul smelling menstrual flow or during sex is an infection, example of which is the bacterial vaginosis that has been earlier mentioned. Itz not safe to go on self medication because you might cause more harm to yourself. Go to a reliable lab, and request to do a 'high vaginal swab for m/c/s'. Write it out the way I've written it. Then take the result to a doctor to determine what to use. Do not use any drug prior to that. Also maintain proper hygiene - change your pads regularly, avoid wearing tight, nylon pants, use only water to clean your private part and clean from front to back, not otherwise. Do the test nd see a doctor asap. Take care

Try to go to the hospital and do pap test for cervical cancer. Foul smell is one of the sign.

for all of you saying it's private and I shouldn't share it here and that I got it through sex blah blah. its an infection! e no dey look face. It started last night and even if there was a good health center around me I wouldn't have been able to go there until this morning. I know I should have gone to a doctor last month but I was just too careless and didn't take it seriously.

Sweetheart you definitely have an infection which could be caused by either Candida albicans. Maybe candidiasis of the virginal or virginitis which is a fungi infection as a result of the purulent smell observed with discharged. But I will advice you see a doctor or gynaecologist.

For now op get boil water add salt and sit on it for SME time. It works pls

Abeg, keep mute if you don't know anything. Regarding hygiene, bv is caused by women who wash too much or douche. That is why many doctors recommend not to use all these feminine hygiene products or soaps. They should use mild soaps, some even recommend aqueous cream to clean with instead of soap.

Google out your symptoms to have an idea of the cause. Google out drugs and read about them, but don't take the drugs unless prescribed by the doctor.
