For those who will Vote hear this

Dateline January 1970: Genera Gowon ended the
civil war and declared 'No Victor, No
vanquished'. He introduced the policy of the
triple R. An acronym for Reconciliation,
Reconstruction and Rehabilitation in a bid to re-
integrate back the Igbos and Biafrans into the
Nigerian Society.

Dateline 1980: President Shehu Shagari granted
pardon to exiled Igbo military leader
Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu and he
returned home for re-integration as his people
celebrated this move as a means of unifying the
country. Shagari also pardoned all Igbo soldiers
who defected from the Nigerian Army to the
Biafran Army.The Igbos made Ojukwu
'Ezegburugbru 1 of Igbo land'. Meaning the king
of igbo land.

Dateline 1983; As Shehu Shagari began his
second tenure, a group of officers led by General
Buhari struck and took power violently. They
accused the political class of being corrupt. But
Umaru Dikko clearly said the purpose of the
coup was to stop Alex Ekwueme an Igbo from
taking over from his boss, Alhaji Shehu Shagari.

Dateline 1983: General Buhari came into power
and clamped Odumegwu Ojukwu into jail.
Ojukwu was never a political office holder and
couldn't have stolen public funds. He was not
charged for any offence and this led him to write
the famous book 'Because Im involved' and a
poem titled 'Kirikiri sermons"
Dateline 2012: ''Jonathan has ended the civil
war' (Igbo nation) FORTY-TWO years after the
Nigerian civil war ended, the Igbo nation
declared yesterday that the impressive manner
in which the Federal Government and the entire
Nigerian nation accorded the leader of the
defunct Biafran Republic, Dim Chukwuemeka
Odumegwu Ojukwu a befitting burial with full
military honours, has confirmed that the war has
actually ended. The Igbos felt once more like
Nigerians.

Dateline 2013: President Jonathan converted the
dismissal of Nigerian soldiers who fought on the
Biafran side to retirement and re-integrated the
pardoned soldiers into the military pension
scheme. Old abandoned soldiers have begun to
receive their pensions as at August this year.
Dateline 2013: The Chairman of the Buhari
campaign organisation followed his Lagos state
counterpart and deported Igbos in large
numbers. The idiocy of this action is that the
actors forgot that they don't control the entrance
and exit into their states.

Dateline 2014 : Chairman of Buhari campaign
organisation in a rally said ''Goodluck Jonathan
has developed Abia and Imo state while
abandoning Rivers state, Are we Biafrans?'' (The
word Biafra here is used as a derogatory word
against Igbos)
Who amongst the leaders attempted to derail
the process of re-integration, national unity and
national building?
Who amongst this leaders took concrete steps to
begin the re-integration and nation building
process?
Judge them with your Votes.

Think. Drop emotions and party affiliations
Vote only those who love and promote the unity
of this country.
