My People, how una dey? I am not in Nigeria but I am fully interested in this election. My Father is from Edo State and my Mother is Yoruba ( Ijebu ). To be honest, I don't support the APC and Rtd General Muhammadu Buhari for some reasons close to my heart. However, it seems the PDP is not doing too badly in the South-West. With the votes the PDP has recorded in Lagos State alone, it seems the APC has not won Overwhelmingly in Lagos as I am being led to believe. If the results I am seeing on Nairaland are anything to go by, this election could end in a Stalemate between Buhari and Jonathan. Yes, Buhari would win the core North massively but so will GEJ win in the South-East and South-South with about 70% vote there. Buhari's nemesis might be the small small and average votes Jonathan is picking up in APC strongholds. People should not just wave GEJ away just like that. Cheers.

In GEJ polling unit, out of over 600 registered voters 255 came for accreditation. What does this tell us? The turnout all over SS+SE will be dancing around 50% which is going to translate to 7-9million votes for GEJ on assumption that other candidates will get zero vote. In NW+ NE don't expect anything below 12-14million votes in favour of GMB because the pvc collected in both region was around 22million. NC looks bright and it is tilting the way of GMB now. SW is already going in favour of GMB with Osun, OYO, Ondo, Ogun and Lagos falling in line. GMB is also expected to make 25% in at least 26 states.

My bros, there is no magic that can see GEJ through this time around. The guy is as good as gone!

In Kaduna, 8 LGAs are done with collation of votes. In Oyo, 5 LGAs have concluded counting of votes.

I appreciate healthy political debates but the way some Buhari supporters behave online is very bad and uncouth and aggressive. For about two months, I have been giving reasons why I am not supporting a Buhari Presidency. I also equally stated that I am not too happy with the GEJ administration. After marshaling my points, these APC people would just come out aggressively and quote figures that are not tenable or make sweeping generalizations based on nothing. If this is how APC Supporters think, then I don't think Nigeria's economic situation will get better if Buhari wins. I have challenged APC supporters to give solid reasons why they think Buhari is the best choice to lead Nigeria and all I get are half-measured responses. Anyway, let the best man win. Stay Blessed.
