The presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), has asked Nigerians to wait patiently for the results of the March 28 elections. He asked them to remain patient while the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) collates the election results from across the states. Buhari shared this message on his official Twitter page on Sunday evening. Fellow Nigerians, I urge you to exercise patience and vigilance as we wait for all results to be announced — Muhammadu Buhari (@ThisIsBuhari) March 29, 2015 After casting his votes yesterday, Buhari, at a press conference in his private residence, said he would not accept cancellation of the presidential elections. Results have pouring in from the different polling units. The APC has been taking in clear lead in some areas and the Peoples’ Democratic Party has also won some areas. |
