Why then do we have elections if incumbent govts. are not supposed to lose?
No ask me that question o, the day we start practicing real democracy in Nigeria, that day will such comments cease.

It's not as if Buhari is less corrupt.

If the results duplicates itself, Ambode would win. Why would somebody that voted for APC in presidential vote for PDP in Gubernatorial elections? Stop giving yourself unrealistic hope... Jimi Agbaje's chances of winning Lagos is low.

BizBayo:

But according to the situation on ground. Imagine that margin, very small. More also, Pdp won in 5 senatorial election. That's what I foresee, Apc did not do well in Lagos at all.

The low turnout in the SE may well cost Jonathan the presidency. His foot soldiers didn't run an effective "get out the vote" operation, unlike what the APC did in the North and SW.
No, I think it's more than that. People have simply lost hope in the president. The few who bothered to vote may have been swayed more by tribal/religious sentiments than trust in Jonathan to make things right.

APC did a helluva job though. Gotta give them that.

I perused through their website last night and read about how they have 2 sources who gave them info of some APC top officials who have already left their present locations for Abuja, as they intend celebrating GMB's victory once announced.

Which means, e don sure be that. You begin to wonder their source. And thus far, like you said, the result they posted yesterday has been in sync with what Jega is giving out presently.

Come on guys, these results were collated and announced in the states before the Abuja presentation.
