By early afternoon on Tuesday March 31, 2015 in Nigeria, about 21 million votes had been counted and collated by the INEC. The results from 33 of Nigeria's 36 states has the 72-year-old Muhammadu Buhari more than 14 million votes and Incumbent President Goodluck Jonathan, at 11 million votes.

Buhari won 49% of about 21 million votes cast compared to Jonathan's 47% of the vote. Two of the country’s 36 voting blocks had yet to announce their results, which are expected later in the day. The results from both states are not expected to offset the over 2million vote deficit. Luck seems to be running out from Goodluck.

General consensus and political analyst are now calling the election for Buhari. This has prompted the News Declaration that Buhari is the winner of 2015 Nigeria Presidential Election. Blogger joins many Nigerians in calling the election for Buhari

The win will would mark the first time in 16-years that the People’s Democratic Party lost a presidential election. Also a Buhari and APC victory would mark the beginning and the emergence of a genuine, competitive two-party system in Nigeria democracy.
