Simple Great Ideas For A Fun Easter by Nobody: 3:34pm On Apr 02, 2015
Just four months ago, there was a Christmas holiday. Now, another holiday is just around the corner –EASTER. We all have several reasons we love Easter – it’s a day to celebrate the resurrection of Christ, a day to feast, but no one would deny it is also an opportunity to get a break from the hustle and bustle of work or school. It may seem strange, but some people do not get a break from rigorous daily activities till it’s a holiday.

Now that you have a breather, time to relax, what are your plans for Easter? If you are here in Nigeria and you already gave up on your Easter out of fear of the unknown, then you may just want to relax and read on. ( http://www.jovago.com )Jovago.com has put together some simple, yet great ideas on how you can have a fun and safe Easter. Enjoy!

• Bring the Cinema Home
Yes, you can enjoy a movie in the comfort of your home, just as much as you will enjoy a movie in the cinema. Four things you need – a great Movie, Popcorn/Drink and Speakers. With all four items set, all you need do is to put down the curtains for that “Cinema-Effects-feeling”, turn up the speaker, then lay comfortably on your couch to enjoy your movie.

• Read a Book
Novels, journals, pamphlets and a whole lot of other books to pick from await you. Pick a book that interest you, and then savour every bit of it.
• Have a Feast
As mentioned earlier, some people see Easter as a day to feast. Get yourself to the kitchen; prepare a feast - a bit of fried/jollof rice, coleslaw, salad, snacks, chips, chicken, anything you love to have. Spoil yourself luxuriously with several meals to choose from.

• Go Shopping
Now may be the perfect time for you to go grocery shopping, get those shoes/clothes you need to add to your closet, or perhaps get new electronics or furniture for your home.

• Clean up the house
When was the last time you did a clean sweep? You know, disposing things you do not need anymore. You would not have probably had time for that with the busy schedules and all, but you can seize this opportunity to do so. Take a clean sweep; gather things you are not in need of anymore, and then decide if you want to donate them to charity.

• Hang out with friends
Go out with friends; invite them over, chit-chat about activities you have not been able to discuss in a long time. Have a good laugh with them; it will help your nerves a lot.

• Rest
You cannot cheat nature, no matter the amount of time you will love to stay up and make the most use of this time, you will need to rest. Go to bed when your body tells you to and have a good sleep till it tells you to wake. Relax; no alarms or fighting to do so much in a little time, it will only wear you out.

Consider these tips below:
• Avoid staying out at night or going too far from your home.
• Avoid heavily crowded places.
• Stay tuned to the news, avoid areas where there are reports of petty fights or rage.
• Be at alert, move quickly away from places arguments is beginning to stir.
• Listen to your instincts.
Lastly, be a good citizen, stay out of trouble and don’t stir one! We do wish you a happy Easter holiday ahead.
