That is the greatest harm Jonathan caused PDP. He made sure people/elders who were more or less the soul of the party (even though most of them are corrupt) were reduced to nothing but onlookers in the scheme of things. He elevated thugs, convicts, and militants with no appeal beyond their little enclaves to positions of king makers. Imagine what might have been the case had Jonathan simply sacrificed Kashamu to get Obj... The only hope of survival PDP has now is Abdulsalami. I believe he could reach across board and bring back the likes of Obj, Danjuma, IBB into the fold. We need a strong opposition to keep the incumbent party in check. 3 Likes |
