Even though these pictures are very old and this issue has been trashed in the past, I will like to state as follows; Are Niger Deltans supposed to work a day in their lives ? Niger Deltans are supposed to own oil wells, and live limousine lifestyles, and own Lamboghini. Any parasite that doesnt like this, should go back into his farm and resurrect their dying cocoa plantation and groundnut pyramid. 2 Likes 2 Shares |

MichaelSokoto:You need my opinion? I have always been of the opinion that NOBODY should enjoy at the expense of others. However, I get appalled by the hypocritical response we get from pro-APC member when it bothers on alleged corruption by some APC members like Saraki, Tinubu, Obj, Atiku, Germade, Umana Umana, Amaechi etc. Same yardstick should be used for all. We shouldn't be hypocritical. |

anulaxad: Are you forgetting that Malam Sanusi Lamido used 1.2 billion Naira on hiring private jets according to CBN audit? Looking at their parents portfolio, the can afford it without your ridiculous suspicion and inexperience They can indeed afford that lifestyle without your insinuation. He was also granted an honorary Doctorate degree in Science from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka in 2010.[3] His second wife Diezani Alison-Madueke was the first female director of Shell Petroleum Development Company of Nigeria, later to become Nigeria's minister of transportation on July 26, 2007. Naval career Madueke studied at the Nigerian Defense Academy between 1964 and 1967.[6] He served at the Embassy of Nigeria as Naval Attache in Washington DC, USA.[3] After a military coup d'état overthrew civilian President Shehu Shagari on December 31, 1983, as Navy Captain he was appointed governor of Anambra State from January 1984 to August 1985, and then of Imo State until 1986 during the military regimes of Generals Muhammadu Buhari and Ibrahim Babangida.[1] Promoted to Rear Admiral, from 1993-1994 he served briefly as Chief of Naval Staff under General Sani Abacha.[7] He was sacked after a Supreme Military Council meeting in August 1994 where he supported the release of the elected civilian president Moshood Abiola, who had been imprisoned after the coup that brought Abacha to power.[8] Later career After retiring from the navy, Madueke became Chairman of Radam Maritime Services Ltd., executive chairman of Interconnect Clearinghouse and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the National ICT Merit Awards He also was appointed to the boards of Regalia Nigeria Ltd, Excel E & P (Marginal Oil Fields) Ltd., Solid Rock Securities and Investments Ltd. and Image Consultants Ltd.[3] Their Mother - Diezani Alison-Madueke Federal Minister of Transportation In office 26 July 2007 – 17 December 2008 Federal Minister of Mines & Steel Development In office 23 December 2008 – 17 March 2010 Federal Minister of Petroleum Resources Incumbent Assumed office 6 April 2010 President of OPEC Incumbent Assumed office 27 November 2014 Personal details BornDecember 6, 1960 Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria Diezani K. Alison-Madueke (born 6 December 1960) is the first female President of OPEC, elected at the 166th OPEC Ordinary meeting in Vienna on 27 November 2014.[1] She was Nigeria's minister of transportation on 26 July 2007. Her father was Chief Frederick Abiye Agama. She studied architecture in England and then at Howard University in the United States.[2] She graduated from Howard with a Bachelor's degree on 8 December 1992.[3] She returned to Nigeria and joined Shell Petroleum Development Corporation that year. In 2002, she attended Cambridge University for her MBA.[2] In April 2006, Shell appointed her its first female Executive Director in Nigeria.[4] Since 1999 she has been married to Admiral Allison Madueke (retired), one-time Chief of Naval Staff who was at various times governor of Imo and Anambra State.[2] she has a son Chimeze Madueke In September 2011 Alison-Madueke was awarded an honorary Doctorate in Management Sciences by the Nigerian Defence Academy, Kaduna.[5] Federal cabinet positions Cynthia Madueke is her daughter live in so many countries,Diezani Alison-Madueke has held three significant positions in the Nigerian federal government. She was appointed Transport Minister in July 2007. On 23 December 2008, she was named as Minister of Mines and Steel Development.[6] After Vice-President Goodluck Jonathan became acting President in February 2010, he dissolved the cabinet on 17 March 2010, and swore in a new cabinet on 6 April 2010 with Alison-Madueke as Minister for Petroleum Resources.[7] Minister of Petroleum Resources As Minister of Petroleum Resources, Alison-Madueke has pledged to transform Nigeria's oil and gas industry so that all Nigerians benefit.[8] In April 2010, President Goodluck Jonathan signed the Nigerian Content Act, which aims to increase the percentage of petroleum industry contracts that are awarded to indigenous Nigerian businesses - a reaction to the domination of the sector by foreign operators.[9] One of the most controversial policies introduced under Alison-Madueke is the government's plan to remove state subsidies on fuel prices. Alison-Madueke has supported the discontinuation of the subsidy on the grounds that it "poses a huge financial burden on the government, disproportionately benefits the wealthy, [and] encourages inefficiency, corruption and diversion of scarce public resources away from investment in critical infrastructure."[10] Alison-Madueke is the first woman to hold the position of Minister of Petroleum Resources in Nigeria, and in October 2010 she became the first woman to head a country delegation at the annual OPEC conference. She was also the first female Minister of Transportation, and the first woman to be appointed to the board of Shell Petroleum Development Company Nigeria.[11] On the 27th of November, 2014 she got elected as the first female President of OPEC [12] On working in male-dominated sectors, Alison-Madueke said she warned the young women she mentored while at Shell to "change their mode of thinking."[13] Controversy In June 2008 Alison-Madueke was subject to a Senate probe after it emerged that as Transport Minister she had paid 30.9 billion naira ($263 million) to contractors between 26 and 31 December 2007. She is said to be worth over a billion naira . However, she has never been charged or tried for these allegations and has strongly denied any wrongdoing. Diezani Allison was alleged to have spent billions of dollars inappropriately on private jets whilst many Nigerians suffer. She also alleged to have been having an affair with President Jonathan[14] and responsible for missing $20 billion dollars. She is also widely accused of reckless spending of Govt funds. [15] [16] [17] [18] In September 2008 there was an unsuccessful attempt to kidnap Alison-Madueke at her house in Abuja with her son Chimezie Madueke.[19] In October 2009, the Senate of Nigeria indicted Diezani Alison-Madueke and recommended prosecution for the alleged transfer of 1.2 billion naira into the private account of a toll company without due process and in breach of concession agreement. [20] However, the allegations have never been taken to law, and the Minister maintains her innocence.[21] 1 Like 1 Share |

Graduates are roaming about the streets........even with "first class" or any class of degree that was obtained with many years of sleepless nights in school characterized with suffering. After all these, FG will now tell us(youths) to go back to Agriculture or invest in farming or useless SURE-P simply because of joblessness, graduates are everywhere and society is pushing them to commit crimes.....while their children are flexing on private jet or yatch or,spending money like bastards. .........I know my fellow Nairalanders will hate me for this statement........ REVOLUTION IS COMING VERY SOON.....Naija youths are very angry cos things cannot just continue like this. That is the more reason why politics is useless because when they get there, masses will always be at the receiving end. DiarisGoduooooo!!! 3 Likes |
