The candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in the 2023 election, Atiku Abubakar has promised to unify the country if elected as the president of the country.

Atiku also promised to confront the insecurity bedevilling the country decisively.

He stated this while giving his acceptance speech after he was declared the winner of the PDP presidential primary election.

Atiku lampooned the APC for reversing the gains recorded by the PDP while at the helms of affairs, promising to fix them if re-elected.

He said, “I am going to deal decisively with our security challenges in this country. I also pledge to confront our economic challenges, which were caused by the APC government. The PDP made Nigeria one of the most prosperous, prosperous countries on the African continent.

“We implemented economic reforms that brought about jobs, and prosperity in this country. The APC came in and wiped out all those gains. That’s why I said today is a very, very historic day. Because it is going to give us an opportunity for us to revise all the misgovernance on the APC government.”

He, however, sought the cooperation of other aspirants in the election, adding that the main focus was to wrestle power from the ruling APC.

Atiku said, “Let me also use this opportunity to call on my fellow contestants. And to assure them that I’m ready to cooperate and work with them and give them a sense of belonging in this party and our next government.

“Therefore, my fellow compatriots, I want to appreciate your efforts in deepening our democratic processes in this party. It was a well, quality primary election. So, I commend you for that and I look forward to working with you very closely. So that together we can build this party to a level where we can take over the government.”

He also appealed to aggrieved party members to refrain from taking the party’s matters to court.

From where are they rooting out the dollars from? Buhari will be a child's play compared to Atiku affliction. A billionaire that was enriched through politics are the reason why Nigeria is still undeveloped. They are cause of the ritual killings, Yahoo Yahoo, Yahoo plus, prostitutions, drug trafficking etc. The masses must resist them and kick them out of Nigeria.

North united and they will always rule over us in South.

Where are the children of hate and resentfulness?

The politics of if I don't get it you won't get it also should stop.

If you are political viable then you shouldn't be afraid to contest with your fellow Southern politician. Whoever wins should pursue and preserve the interest of South.

Lucifer cannot exorcise demon from a mad man but will rather add more demons into the mad man making his deliverance difficult.
Atiku is a hypocrite. I don't see all these corrupt men with expired brain coming to exorcise Nigeria of her deadly problems.
Nigerians should be wise

Nigerians will soon forget that and start singing his praises until he shows them pepper again.

Northern cabals are the same and they are stacked in both pdp and apc but when it comes to politics, they are one behind the curtains. That is why they are rooting for JEG because they know he is very weak. He will loose woefully to atiku in the North and they will retain power by switching loyality.
That's why you will never see them condemning something like what atiku did by revoking the tweet and denying it. They are same yesterday, today and forever.

In as much as I don't like tinubu, he is the only one that can give atiku run for his money because of his political structures, but well, won't the northern cabals play him? Southern leaders have long way to go.

Campaign take over.
No time.
Unfortunately PDP can't go back to power except there is a clean win if the whole south support Atiku, which is not possible.
It could have worked if Obi is still in PDP and if APC betray Tinubu because out of spite for APC he might go support Atiku.

Atikuchukwu Abubakar sold all the companies that were established by our founding fathers to his family and friends and to Obasanjo's family and friends at give away price.

Atikuchukwu Abubakar sold NEPA, NITEL, NICON Hotels, Nigerian Airways, Ajaokuta Steel Rolling Mill, Osogbo Steel Rolling Mill, Delta Steel Rolling Mill, Eleme Petrochemical Company, e.t.c. Atikuchukwu Abubakar sold more than 100 federal companies at almost zero price.

Nigeria is now both the poverty capital of the world, also Nigeria is the third most terrorized country. The economy has collapsed, the government now prints or borrows money to pay salaries, unemployment is about 35 per cent, the government now shares sovereignty with terrorists.”

Since Tinubu, Osinbajo, Lanwan will be puppets, am going with Atiku

Atiku might win. The south See's south west contesting as betrayal and have the mindset that tinubu's win will be a south west win and not a southern win.

Pls don't pick an Igbo man as your Vice o. It will ruin your chances cos this is your time.

Go to South West and look for a knowledge , respected person not touts like Fayose or slowpoke Dele. West will use that to compensate Tinubu and Osinbajo loss.

Also don't pick any of the other aspirants as your Vice.
