Beautiful bird. Probably the largest armed UAV produced in Africa. South Africa is silently making the right move.

Lt-Gen TY Buratai, ex-COAS, Says Maj – Gen Victor Ezugwu was an Exceptional Officer

Former Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Lt-Gen. Tukur Buratai, says retired Maj-Gen. Victor Ezugwu remained exceptional in his military career and left an indelible mark in his service to father’s land. Buratai said this during the Grand Homecoming, Thanksgiving Mass and Reception for Ezugwu, held on Wednesday at his Umurusi Ukehe community in Igbo-Etiti local government area of Enugu State.

He said that when he discovered Ezugwu’s genius and exceptional quality as well as humility, he drew him closer and saddled him with assignments and responsibilities.

According to him, Ezugwu dispatched his assignments and duties with some perfection. “Discovering his unique qualities, I placed him in critical and demanding positions and he delivered with some level of perfection. “I tested his humility and endurance by keeping him as an acting General Officer Commanding (GOC) 7 Division for two years even when he was doing exceptionally well in fighting insurgency in that axis of the country. “As a theatre commander, he helped the country to roll back the expansion of Boko Haram and recovered a lot of communities and council areas that fell into the hands of the bandits,” he said.

The former COAS thanked Ezugwu for coming out with lots of initiatives as well as conceptualising and building anti-landmine vehicles and landmine detectors to protect Nigerian troops from landmines planted by the enemies.

just a though in passing or rather a problem for anyone those who support terrorists in other countries for whatever reasons

if one were to be neutral or as a sympathiser of ha.mas and their fight, how is Al-Shabaab, AQIM etc any different from what ham.as is and has being doing ?

using recent precedence of ham.as actions and the logic put forth by their supporters one can legitimately argue that Al-Shabaab, AQIM etc is fighting for their ancestral lands and rights from their occupying oppressors right ?

what's different ? nothing except that the country/countries on the receiving end is different

but what's good for the goose is good for the gander right ?

then again in future what if countries and people across the world come out in support for Al-Shabaab, AQIM as their did for ham.as for freedom and ancestral rights etc etc, things would be pretty interesting then isn't it ?

The ongoing Hamas vs Israel conflicts is quite different from what's happening with Al-shabaab, AQIM, ISWAP, or other religious fighters in Africa ?

sure i am fine with that

but food for though

nowhere is the world it is different

on the top level more or less same story, provided one is not biased

similar causes, similar ideology etc etc so what's the difference in Al-shabaab, AQIM, ISWAP, ham.as, LeT , mujaheed e hind, hizbul mujahideen and thousands of similiar terrorist orgs fighting in their own words for freedom etc ?

i guess terrorists are good or bad based on which country is on the receiving end grin

anyways was just a thought , no wahala, got own problems bec after isr.ael , next target will be in.dia most probably , given the common factor between both of them , no prizes for guessing what it is

I totally agree that we all have our opinions, but at the same time there are facts and fictions.

Comparing HAMAS ideology vs Israeli conflicts with extremist like ISWAP, AQIM & Al-shabaab ideologies is quite different.

Let me use ISWAP/BHT for example that I know of and have witnessed, even Muslims are not spared from the wrath of BH.

When BH started it was about creating there our caliphate; But creating your own extremist caliphate thereby killing muslims and other religion is totally out of point. For me it's just totally madness and evil. Hamas vs Israeli forces is about ancestral home which has been for yours.

Your comparison is
