Blame the President and his Army Chief for that

EVarn:
What then would the regulars fight with?... special forces cannot cover ground.

Maybe if we invested in the right equipments,we wouldn't be losing the ones we have.

The blame would rest more on the CoAS than on the President. It is the CoAS that should analyse the situation, identify the needed platforms, formulate strategies and present the needs of the army to the FEC. The President is not at the warfront, hence, he can only work on the information made available to him.

Not that I am absolving the President of all blame, I believe that if people aren't giving you proper results, sack them. But when it comes to operational and administrative issues, it's the responsibility of the CoAS.

So annoying when you see ISWAP gun trucks and Artillery in NA colours, damn!! Even the new Innoson patrol truck has been gifted already? who knows, by next week, we see them driving around in the new proforce MRAP recently acquired, I just wish Nigeria as a matter of policy should end equipping regulars and focus resources on special forces.
We lose more men and resources recovering/destroying our equipments than we spend to defeat terror, what kinda war is that?
But wait sooo with the US and France deploying jets and drones from Niger and Chad them nor fit help us indentify Targets since most of these Idiots Dem operate from those countries.....The work sef too much for NAF grin only Dem go operate from Niger and Nigeria go conduct ISR,SAR,Air interdiction majority of the air operation is carried out by NAF And Also I blame so military leaders for this shit that's happening.....

Maybe eventually.

Meet Elijah, a solid brother I got the privilege to spend time with this morning.
He spent 5 years studying engineering at the Nigerian military academy before coming to train with the US @laughlin_afb
His dad is a pastor in Nigeria, watching over the souls of God’s people. Elijah hopes to defend the skies over that same land, and be God’s hand of justice to the evil His country is facing.
So far we’ve only flown in the altitude chamber together, but in a few short weeks he’ll be on the line with engines hot! May God be glorified in all you do, brother!

I agree with covering grounds based on number, but how do you mean the "right equipments"?
What is wrong about equipments ISWAp risk their scarce resources, men & exposure to acquire from us?

We don't have the required aircrafts for sustained bombardment, we don't have the required APC/MRAPS to enable an all-out land offensive(else we lose men like toilet paper), we are still digging trenches at this stage of the war, many cases of tired old AK47s jamming/overheated/exploding during battle; basically, we are sitting ducks, relegated to defending pockets of cleared zones. How then will ISWAP not continue to harass and overrun our bases in overwhelming numbers, seizing useless tanks and artillery?.

PERSONNEL WELFARE: NAF COMMISSIONS RENOVATED ACCOMMODATION FOR SNCOS IN KADUNA

The current Nigerian Air Force (NAF) administration has provided accommodation to 546 personnel in NAF Base Kaduna from August 2015 till date. This was made known yesterday, 19 August 2019, by the Chief of the Air Staff (CAS), Air Marshal Sadique Abubakar, while commissioning a renovated block of 30 x 2-bedroom flats for Senior Non-Commissioned Officers (SNCOs) in Kaduna. He also disclosed that the construction of a block of 10 x one-bedroom officers’ transit quarters and renovation of another officers’ transit quarters were also ongoing. He noted that these, when completed, would accommodate additional 50 personnel.

The CAS, who was represented by the Air Officer Commanding Air Training Command (AOC ATC), Air Vice Marshal (AVM) Muhammad Suleiman, said projects like this were initiated in all NAF Bases to ensure conducive work and home environments for personnel and their families in line with the President, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces directives for enhanced welfare for personnel. He further said that providing decent housing for officers, airmen and airwomen remains one of the priorities of Headquarters NAF Policy thrust, towards ensuring that personnel and their families live in a befitting accommodation and are therefore better prepared to respond to various exigencies of the Service. The CAS said the administration remains committed to upgrading existing structures as well as building new facilities as part of infrastructural development drive in all NAF Units. Air Marshal Abubakar disclosed that the administration would continue to provide the much needed support to sustain the tempo of operations against insurgency, kidnapping and armed banditry. He therefore urged personnel to re-double their efforts to reposition the Service into a highly professional and disciplined force for effective, efficient and timely employment of air power in response to Nigeria’s National Security imperatives.

Earlier in his welcome address, the Commander 453 Base Services Group, Air Commodore Idi Sani, said that the event is a remarkable milestone towards improving the living conditions of NAF personnel and adding to the phenomenal development on the Base. He said NAF Base Kaduna would continue to remain grateful to the CAS for his unwavering support towards the provision of shelter and other basic amenities on the Base. He disclosed that the beneficiaries of the structure have vowed to reciprocate the exceptional gesture with continued commitment to duties while developing and upholding a high maintenance culture. Some of the beneficiaries were handed over their keys at the occasion. The Commandant Air Force Institute of Technology, Chief of Staff ATC and Commanders of co-located NAF Units graced the occasion.
