Was that his 23yr old picture? He looked 50. Anyway, Nigerian youth need to start taking up seats in the HOR and supporting each other in that quest. Enough of career politicians. Those positions are a call to service, not a call till I die.

When GEJ was saying that his generation has failed Nigerian youths, I can now clearly see what he meant. They had the best education and every opportunity to make the country a better place for their children but they woefully failed. Now the country is almost dead, all thanks to people like Gowon, OBJ, IBB, Buhari and their gang.

That was when Nigeria was really good; when Nigerians achieved a lot at relatively young age.

Many of our past great leaders actually became famous at very young age. Take a look at the life history of Obafemi Awolowo, Nnamdi Azikwe, Amadu Bello, Gani Fawehinmi, Prof. Wole Soyinka, Prof. Chinua Achebe, M.K.O Abiola and many many more.

Many Nigerians at even 30 years nowadays have not found their bearing in life and this is a result of failure to use the nation's resources to better our lives.

I weep for Nigeria cry

Any youth you see in politics now is either a son, daughter or inlaw to a top politician... This people have traveled round the world they know what it looks like, why do our politicians just believe in enriching their personal pocket instead of building the nation so that their unborn generations can also enjoy from it...

They won't learn wish they could learn from abiola's story... With all the wealth Abiola got, so sure it's all finished now.. May God almighty deliver Nigeria from the hungry and evil politicians

Majority of his (Mbu's) mates (20+ years) are NOWADAYS concerned with EPL at the peril of their future, deceived into political/ethnic/religious bigotry and violence.. Their laps (thighs) have been damaged as a result of the reigning prison-mindedness called SAGGING. Focus has been replaced with pinging, chatting (while these are good, but they have, like cancer, eaten deep into their thinking faculty) Nigerian youth, rise up and take your place

He's right. We're not making any progress in this country. Buhari was ruled Nigeria before I was born and he's been elected to rule again. That is not progress.

Quite cool. looks like he will be holding the record for a while. Nigerian politics requires a certain level of emotional intelligence, that can only be acquired with age.

This is what we need young intellectuals that can drive our nation forward. Not old already achieved and self fulfilling people. Lets see when Buhari will start to appoint minister, you will see ministers with strong CV but no brain to handle the position. Hmmmn Nigeria.

Good one. At 23 now, the average Nigerian is still living wth his parents, still going to school or still learning a trade. Nobody considers him for elective or leadership positions of such magnitude cos he is viewed as not been mentally ready.
The youths of today are not helping matters either: they occupy their thoughts with sex, drinking, social networks and other mundane things that will not add value to their lives.
