Does anyone know how to design a wap site? I understand what programming language to use but don't have a cellphone with GPRS/Wap access. I want to use an emulator browser to show the wap site while I develop it. Any suggestions about the sort of emulator/broswer I can use?

Well, you don't need GPRS or WAP access to access a local WAP website. You can use Apache, PHP and Mysql to build a WAP site and use a WAP emulator like winwap to test your WAP site. To download winwap, go here http://www.winwap.com/products_2_3.php.

am not that sure but try building your wap site with dream weaver 8 it gives you enough syntaxes and aids since it writes the codes easily for you

Sorry man, I have been kinda busy with sch and work. I have done a couple of of wap projects but mostly on contract basis. I did one recently during the world up. A chap called me and asked if I could build a wap page that when users on a GSM network browse to they can see the match scores for all games played that day.

The project I am very proud of if www.mybuzz.com.gh, it was a php based website that could interface with your GSM phone. Some jsp gurus took it over and it is now www.tigo.com.gh but the dbase sructure is still the same and I designed it.
