Lagos was capital for 30 years and abuja is capital now from 1976 to 2009 = 33 years

It is time to have a new capital , a capital for nigeria and not the north, that abuja has been.

I would suggest Just below the river niger and not too far from lokoja.
see map. the east side in kogi have erosion problems and too many villages to relocate people. so the west side would be best.

Of we could find a place between ajaokuta and Agenebode. Where the north meet th e south as an idea place. This are the centre place we have.

Or we can locate the capital in

This are the only two place that the capital can be located. We can not put it in the east because it would disturb the oil pipelines and the coastal area would disturb the offshore rig.
While in the south east(igbo) we can not put the capital there because of erosion problem. we dont want to waste too much money.

This two places are best location to relocate the capital. And we need to make that decision now. It would taken at least 10 years to build and moving in by 2020. Which is in line with Yar adua vision 2020. So that by 2020 we move into the new capital.

So you can locate it between ajaokuta and agenebode or at lokoja. lokoja is a well plan city. and modern city.

And this is part of Yar adua vision 2020.
