its unfair what they are doing to DC. And suicide squad isn't a joker or batman film for joker to be present. Little is better than m0re. U said so of BvS. Why c0mplain now?
Whoops, missed this, buried underneath the Mr. NL mentions - don't know why they keep tagging me, I don't vote in any of those things. Anywho, apparently you missed the point that I actually enjoyed the film. It's not a perfect film. I know the premise of the SS, I did just finish my JL/JLU rewatch, which actually featured a SS episode in it. They're folks out there who want to watch SS because they think it's a Joker film (I'm assuming this is due to the trailers, I didn't watch a single trailer, like I said it's an assumption), so I simply mentioned it for their benefit. So your argument is moot.

Personally, DCEU need a producer of Kevin Feige's level, who is not afraid to bounce a director, just like the Comic Book Girl 19 video I posted, she said the exact same thing I've been saying - they've rushed things to catch up. Do you know where DC kills Marvel? In their animated ventures. The DCAU is still considered a masterpiece, hence why I keep rewatching it. The DCAOM are real money making direct to video features. If they could get people the calibre of Bruce Timm (he handles the animated stuff) or Paul Dini (he wrote a lot of their animated stuff before he left, he's now with Marvel), folks that respect the source material or even when they've been changes, still make sense. Or they could just give their animated films bigger budgets & theatrical releases.

I finally got to see suicide squad today, all I can say is "God punish all the yeye critics for the misleading ratings". The movie was far far better than what the critics were reporting, though the editing is a little bit off point. Margot Maggie did justice to Harley Quinn, will smith enjoyed himself playing deadshot and jared leto joker was actually good, viola Davis was a nice choice as agent Waller. Deadshot and Harley quinn got the best lines in the movie.
I now agree that critics intensionally rated this movie very low ,
The movie is actually better than iron man 2 and 3, Thor 2 and these movie got a better rating compare yo ss (I mean no offence o at marvel fans) , I have to state this because of the ridiculous rating given to suicide squad. Note that I'm not a DC fan neither am I a marvel fan.

The problem of the DCEU is the stupid crybabies they have as fans...suicide squad deserves every bit of bashing it got from the critics because dumb ass fans compared it to GOTG and the film did not live up to expectations same thing happened with MOS and BvS....I'm sure a month or two to the official release of JUSTICE LEAGUE some stupid fans will compare it to the AVENGERS and when it doesn't live up to the expectations and gets a bad review they start whining about how biased some critics are or how some critics take bribe...

yeah! I saw SS yesterday, as early as 10am (first on the line) grin
my honest review.....
I think act1 was literally very good. as in.... how Amanda gave us insight. and she did it in a very explicit way.

then the (a) bit pacing and editing issues came in in act2..... though wasn't close that bad as some of our brothers made it to look. to be frank, I didn't see it as a huge problem because it still told the story appropriately (virtually 70% movies have this issue too.... juxtaposing).

while the act3, which was the final didn't face such issues....
that credit scene should ve been added, just at the ending of 3rd act and it would still make a perfect sense to me.

Characters wise:
Deadshot; 100% perfect!
Harley Quinn; 99% amazing!
Amanda Waller aka the Boss!; 95% mean!
The Joker (mind you, this was a different take); 90% maniac!
Rick Flagg; 85% true to his character!
Diablo; 80-85% good
Dr June; 75% on the game!
Kill Croc; 75% fantastic and funny, especially when he talks!!!
Boomerang; 70% funny, but did nothing much...
!
Enchantress herself; 50% ok and scary!
Her brother; 25%. absolutely inconsequential. bad and rubbish!
Slipknot or what; 15%. no value and worth why he was there! though, he served as a scapegoat just to test Wayne device grin

Technically, Amanda was the villian. but that Enchantress and brother, are terrible villians to say the lest.
in all, I gave SS 7/10 rating

Just saw suicide squad this morning. Not the perfect film, but I loved it. The screw ball nature of the film, margot robbie's performance, creepiness of the villains and far more entertaining than BvS. It had faults like being a little bit rushed, pacing and all that, but still, I got my money's worth. For this one, I totally disagree with the critics and rotten tomatoes. At least, the rating should be about 50 something percent on RT not the 27 up there. Bleep the critics on this one. Ayer should be called to direct a sequel and Zack Snyder should be sacked.

I was once one of those who hated Zack Snyder, but all that changed after I watched MOS, course I truly love Superman's character. though I loved his first movie, Dawn of the Dead.

I think Zack is that kind of director that if you get to understand, u will not want to let go.... likewise if u ain't his fan, u will find his work not appealing.

his works are heavily symbolic and filled with easter eggs....

I like his take, cause it challenge how someone generally perceived movies to be! Just take a second view on BvS and see how easter eggs and symbolic signs were encrypted into it perfectly, yet without exaggerating any of it....

I decided to rewatch a part of theatrical version of BVS while on international flight some days ago. Lo and behold, I saw something awesome while playing Superman's flight towards doomsday with the Kryptonian spear. It was Ace Chemical in the background, it was right there all the while but I never noticed it until I slowed down my video player. My point is that by slowing down many scenes, you will find more easter eggs. Snyder is too visually detailed, men menn...that guy is something else! He has his flaws but his visual style is most unusual and might not be appreciated except by you're a visual specialist. By the way, I was formerly an artist, hence I have an eye for interpreting Snyder's work. Basically, his scenes have fewer dialogues between actors but more visual elements in the background of the scene to communicate more information to viewers.

I watched a video visually analysing the Flash scene in the recent comic con Justice League footage. I was shocked at how much information was contained in that scene. There was a 3D printer in that room which means Barry designed his costume, there was a lot of food on the table which suggests that Barry stayed indoor most of the time (remember he said that he needs friends). By the way, did you catch the reference to Watchmen in BVS?

yeah! when those two police guys were about responding to that distressed call..... the sign board reference Watchmen there. I ve forgot, but it was something like: "the end is nigh......... right?

even at the end, when WW and Batman stood opposite each other, while Lois Lane was holding Superman's body and Doomsday's body was also lying dead. it's a very mighty and great reference there-symbolizing Jesus' death in passion of the Christ. you will also noticed.....I think 2 crosses just at their backs....
bro.... infact, the easter eggs and references (homages) are so many that if you ain't very familiar with his works or those characters you won't even no or understand with is properly going on...!

guess you spotted the Riddler's easter Egg too?
even Watchmen movie, at that time had this present Joker in it, but people didn't no... His " HAHAHAHAHAHA" was an easter egg there...!
