Isk: Yeah well said, It's just that most of us have become overly conditioned by this "suit thing",even though there are more than a handful of industries that don't require such fittings or see it as their status quo. |

1one:wearing a suit or formal wear to an interview is appropriate and gives you an edge over others. When you enter the system, you can then conform to less formal or hindering work clothes. In my opinion, the lady should have been more conservative in her dressing. |

Isk: But really, looking at the picture of the lady up there, considering the more liberal taste of Caucasians, don't you think the interviewers had no cogent reason for turning her down, what she wore could pass as an ā€¯Informal suit....More so that the nature of her job would hardly ever require her to dress in a suit.....summarily though I agree that yes, when going for an interview a suit is a standard outfit but in her case, I think there was a more jaundiced reason for them to turning her down. |
