This is the case of a cook, asking the steward to serve him food. The people of Niger Delta should be talking about Resource Control under True Federalism, you do not ask a Hausa man to give you what belongs to you. Are you guys stupid ? |

Clerverly: You don't know anything about budget, Mr Economist. With addition N60,000 to 5,000,000 poor Nigerians per annun, unemployment benefits for graduates etc promised by APC Government, how do you intend to reduce recurrent expenditures? Is APC going to sack Federal Government Workers and Security Agencies or reduce the 5% of our budget wasted as wage bill on legislators? Is APC going to increase revenue by taxing a living hell out of Nigerians? Increase petroleum products pump prices? Increase VAT? - Mind you, these are not part of their campaign promises. What actually will they do differently apart from implementing the GEJ committee report on merging and eliminating redundant ministries and parastatals? Osun State magic Governor presented a budget of skyscrapers which is sinking the State to low level with seven months unpaid salaries and still counting. We pray Buhari's Government succeeds but we are yet to know what he intends doing differently than impossible future terms promises and APC continued campaign after winning the presidency and parliament instead of uniting the Nation. |

Sincerely, as Niger Deltan I am, this amnesty payment should be put to an end... The amnesty is offering them pardon and I don't see the aim of the payment because all they should be concerned about is their freedom rather than being lazy and loophole the country economy with their greed. These ex-militants are very unserious and lazy, I leave around them so I am saying from experience... For the infrastructure, yes, that's what is needed and not for a thief to start drinking in bars and going from one brutel to another every month with the money that will be best put in use. How many graduates have such revenue generated into their pocket yearly...? I leave around these guys and I am telling you that they are very unserious but we know that life is meant for serious people so their payment inclusion in the amnesty should be scrapped and the government be ready to deal with subsequent defaulters 2 Likes |

Clerverly:I've got nothing more to add. What a shame to see able bodied young men sitting idly awaiting to be spoon fed like toddlers. Every nickel and dime has to earned henceforth. If you wanna be a beggar, don't go sitting in joints drinking booze like someone who earns a living busting his hump, go sit by the roadside with a plate and beg for alms like other beggars do. Nonsense. 2 Likes |

Hehehehe, Nigerians love to rant. Even buhari knows if he doesn't befriend them, his government will crumble. If the oil stops leaving the Delta peacefully, what will happen? How long can Nigeria live on borrowing with a non oil sector that won't function 50% even in the next 20 years. Smh. |

ehie: If there are any priorities, it's the NE. Those people have suffered. The point is everywhere except the SE will see meaningful development. I enjoin GMB to empower TRUE sons of the SS economically through jobs and business concessions as they're going to be the new leaders of eastern Nigeria. |

Clerverly: How do u determine liverful militant? Is it by killing innocent citizens? I agree with u, no free money. But u should understand that amnesty is a product of the age long decay. Untll that corrected..... Well, what I told someone about this is if the current PIB is passed, then no need for amnesty.... Let's move move this country forward & leave all this needless sentiments. |
