be very far from the myth of ignorance being a
commonplace. It's actually spreading like wild
fire. I recently received the fabricated hadith
forbidding hellfire to anyone who informs another
of the coming of the Holy month of ramadan. I
initially thought the fabrication was regarding the
month of Rajab and Rabiulawal alone, till I
received the one for ramadan. I wish to urge us
to always verify issues concerning religion before
putting it online. The effect is very severe as the
punishment of hellfire is guaranteed for
fabricators of the sayings of the prophet. Please,
before you forward that message to someone
else, read it, confirm it, or ask from those who
know. I do not claim any authority, this is just a
honest plea. Wa Allahu a'alam.

Whoever is the first to give another person

The Prophet Sallallaahu alaihi wasallam has said,
“Whoever is the first to give another person the
news about the month of Rabi-ul-Awwal, the fire
of hell is Haraam for them”. Is this Hadeeth

Finding the truth about something may not be as easy as it meets the eye. To the Serbs who killed muslims, the truth is that they deserved to be killed, and same applies to the Christians who carried out the crusade. Maybe it's all wiped away from your own version of history, you may consult appropriate books.

I like your way of admitting the truth. You've just admitted that you're wrong with that verse, conducted more research then came back armed with 4:34. I thought you said you were done with me? The verse you quoted FYI, deals with the historical account of prophet Job on his recovery. It has nothing to do with women. Well, check the verses you earlier made reference to, 4:34 is among those verses. Maybe your continuous copying and pasting caused it.

See, Islam has its own rules, it's a way of life, very comprehensive and complete (once again, read all the verses, not some). I'm sure you'll agree with me that cultural relativism plays a big role, not only in Islam, but all cultures of the world . The mistake people make is casting their judgment on other people's culture without proper investigation.

A literal understanding of 4:34 can in no way give you the true meaning of the verse. That's why I said earlier that you should consult proper books and be fair with criticism. The word 'daraba' used in the verse is literally translated to 'beating'. But like all languages of the world, the speakers have many meanings to a word. In any way, the 'beat' in the verse doesn't mean flogging at all. AND THERE IS NO REPORT OF THE PROPHET BEATING ANY OF HIS WIVES OR NONE WHICH HE APPROVED. Thus the necessary meaning has been given to the verse to mean a slight touch (just to show anger).

To an outsider like you, muslims beat their wives, but to an insider like me, Muslims have no right to strike their wives.

Going deeper may distort your understanding. I wouldn't like that. I'm sure one day, like many have found the truth in islam, you'll be a bit accommodating of our views. Let's be friends Please....
