Earlier today (Thursday, 23 April 2015), Outgoing Benue State Governor Gabriel Suswam, after a closed door meeting with the Governor-Elect, Dr Samuel Ortom, donated 8 brand new Toyota SUVs to Dr Ortom and his deputy Engr Benson Abounu to aid mobility and smoothen the transition. Coincidentally, it was also Dr Ortom’s 54th birthday.

Closed door meeting,8 brand new SUVs, aid mobility and smoothen transaction after an acrimonious primary and subsequent defection...  Correct me if I'm wrong but i thought this governor claimed the treasury was depleted which is why state public servants are being owed several months salary and why there is a halt in project executions  ?He had funds to prosecute failed election bids for both himself and his stooge, with left over to buy these cars. If Ortom fails to probe his administration then the Benue people are on a ""longer thing" than what they experienced under Suswan's govt!! 1 Like 1 Share |
