Please can any one lecture me how to create a static page on carrington mobile themes.

Follow these steps, either you create a page using the wordpress system or code the page yourself.

if you want to use wordpress, create a page, then get the page link and use the html "href" attribute to link it up inside your carrighton mobile theme.

example " <div><a href="the page address here">Page name here</a></div>.

but if you want to code it and make it static using wordpress funtions tag and php tags,

create a file and called it for example "static_page.php",

so this codes goes into the file " static_page.php"

//if you want to load the sidebar, load the sidebar too by calling it, with the function, get_sidebar();

//style the div with css properties and values as you desire.

<div class="static">put the content of your static page in side this div</div>

//then call the footer file, thats the footer.php file

get_footer();
