From mild to wild, these refreshing watermelon drinks will make any summer get-together an exciting event. You’ll find many of the recipes use common pairings like mint and cucumber, and any of the recipes can be made more adult with alcohol (but can certainly be made non-alcoholic).

These watermelon drink recipes are perfect for backyard barbecues but work surprisingly well for breakfast, brunch or lunch too. Try adding unusual fresh herbs or other fruits for a crowd-pleasing cocktail or fruit punch.

Watermelon-Cucumber Refresher
For those of you who like a little alcohol with your watermelon, this drink recipe features vodka, triple sec, lime juice, and a watermelon-cucumber-mint juice.

Watermelon Frosty
A deliciously frozen drink that blends frozen watermelon cubes with water, citrus, maple syrup and a banana. You can even add tequila for an extra kick!

Watermelon Mimosa
Summer brunch just got a little more exciting with this spin on a champagne infused cocktail that’s good at any time of day!

Watermelon Lemonade
Put a spin on summer lemonade with this watermelon variant that utilizes fresh watermelon puree. Simple and surprisingly good.

Jalapeno Watermelon Limeade
Kick it up a notch by making this spicy cooler. Fresh watermelon, limes, jalapenos and a splash of vodka (optional).

Watermelon Basil Cooler
Add an herbal note for a classic watermelon cooler featuring watermelon, fresh basil leaves and sparkling water. It’s fizzy and refreshing!

Watermelon Lime Chiller
An adult drink that will please everyone. Chilled watermelon, fresh limes, mint and rum. You’ll think you’re on a tropical island.

Watermelon Agua Fresca
There’s nothing simpler than the pure, refreshing taste of watermelon agua fresca. It’s pureed watermelon strained and served over ice with a sprig of mint.

Watermelon Sangria
It’s not a party unless there’s sangria! This recipe mixes watermelon chunks with blackberries, cherries, blueberries, wine, vodka, and triple sec.

Watermelon Margaritas
This recipe makes a big batch, so plan to invite friends over. Mix tequila, triple sec and watermelon juice for a refreshing drink.

HOW TO MAKE 10 SIMPLE & DELICIOUS SUMMER DRINKS

When the weather heats up, it's time to cool down. While ice-cold water is always a great choice, sometimes we want something with more flavor that still feels refreshing. Here are ten of our favorite easy-to-make summer drinks. From citrusy sippers to fruity coolers to tea and lemonade, there's something for everyone here.
Strawberry-Limeade
This sweet-tart drink is perfect for summer days when you need a little something extra on top of your lemonade or sparkling water.
• 1 cup strawberries
• 1/2 cup sugar
• 1/4 cup water
• 1/4 cup lime juice (1 to 2 limes)
In a blender, purée the strawberries, sugar and water until smooth. Add ice cubes and blend until smooth again. Pour into glasses filled with ice cubes and garnish each glass with a slice of lime.
Grapefruit Fizz
If you're looking for a quick way to add some citrus flavor into your day without making an elaborate cocktail or smoothie, this grapefruit fizz is just what you need!
• 1 cup grapefruit juice
• 1/2 cup club soda
• 2 tablespoons lime juice
• 1 tablespoon of mint leaves, finely chopped (I used fresh but dried works too)
• Ice cubes to fill your glass about half way. You can use more or less depending on your preference for how strong you like it.
• A sprig of basil for garnish (optional)
Orange Slush
This is one of the simplest summer drinks, and one of my personal favorites. It's also good for parties because it's fast and easy to make in large quantities.
All you need is frozen fruit and juice concentrate and a blender—that's it! Enjoy this slushy treat while lounging by the pool or relaxing by the lake (or anywhere else where there are pools or lakes).
The ingredients are simple: orange juice, lime juice (which I get from a bottle), sugar (to taste), ice cubes, mint leaves.
Raspberry Cooler
This refreshing drink is perfect for summer. It’s made with raspberries, which are in season right now, and a combination of other ingredients that will give you a sweet and tart drink that is sure to be a crowd favorite.
1 cup raspberries
1 cup ice
1/2 cup orange juice
1/2 cup water
4 tablespoons honey (substitute with sugar if you prefer) 1 tablespoon lemon juice 1 tablespoon lime juice 1 tablespoon vodka
Summer Spritzer
Make a summer spritzer by combining ice, lemonade and sparkling water. Add a splash of vodka for a cocktail that feels like it's brunching. Add gin for an afternoon soirée when you want something a little more sophisticated than just plain old vodka soda. Garnish with mint leaves if you're feeling fancy (and have some on hand). For those who like their drinks stronger: add rum, tequila or triple sec for extra oomph; these liquors will also help balance out any sweetness from the lemonade or fruit juices used in the mix.
Blueberry Passion Cocktail
• In a cocktail shaker, add the blueberries, vodka and lemonade. Add ice to halfway fill the shaker.
• Shake vigorously for about 30 seconds. Strain into a glass filled with ice. Garnish with lemon slice and mint sprig. Serve immediately!
This drink is so delicious because it's light and not too sweet. It also pairs perfectly with summer BBQs or any type of outdoor party/picnic that might be coming up soon!
Watermelon-Citrus Punch
• Ingredients:
• 1/2 cup watermelon, cubed
• 2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
• 1 cup orange juice (freshly squeezed is best)
• 1/4 cup lemon juice (freshly squeezed is best)
In a blender or food processor, combine all ingredients. Puree until smooth and frothy. Chill for 30 minutes before serving over ice.
Sun Tea
Sun tea is a great way to enjoy iced tea without the need for electricity or ice. You can use any kind of loose leaf tea you like, but it's important to steep the leaves in hot water for at least five minutes before adding sugar and chilling the mixture. For a super-refreshing drink, add lemon slices or mint leaves and serve over ice.
If you're looking for something extra special, try making sun tea with fresh fruit: sliced limes or oranges go especially well with black teas like Earl Grey or English Breakfast!
Sparkling Cherry Lemonade
There’s nothing quite like the refreshing taste of a glass of lemonade on a hot summer day. But why not mix things up with this cherry version? This drink is so easy to make and so tasty, you'll want to serve it all season long.
• Refreshing: You can always add other fruits—after all, there's no such thing as too many cherries! Make sure you use fresh ingredients for this recipe, as frozen or canned fruit won't give you the same results.
• In Advance: You can make this recipe in advance by mixing all the ingredients together before serving or pouring into pitchers or punch bowls for guests to serve themselves.
Peachy Iced Tea
• 1 cup of water
• 1 cup of iced tea
• 2 cups peach nectar (or regular peach juice)
• 1 cup lemonade (or regular lemon juice)
• 1 cup limeade (or regular lime juice)
• 3 cups ice

Conclusion
We hope you enjoyed the recipes and found some new, refreshing drink ideas to try out. As temperatures rise, it's time to cool down with these delicious drinks. They're refreshing and simple to make, too! You'll get the most out of your summer with these 10 drink recipes.
These drinks are a great way to cool off in the summer heat, and they’re all easy enough to make so that anyone can enjoy a cold beverage on a hot day! Which one is your favorite? Any other drink recipes you like making during the summer? Let us know in the comments below.
