Like the times of my tender age, in this same little garden carved for me I find so much pleasure relaxing and reflecting on every issue I wish to bring to mind. How time flies; it does wait for no one, I am 18 yrs old today... Shade ponders, thinking and talking aloud in excitement. Yes o..!! David replies, that little girl of yesterday.

Shade: which little girl? Abeg leave me jor, you are the last person I want to see around me right now.

David: Habba, don't say that dearie... So, you mean you are still upset about our last conversation? Let's just put that behind us and move forward Shade, how I wish for you a pleasant and blissful today my love.

Shade: Please and please... Your what did you just say? Love my foot, who are you loving? You hurt me every now & then and there you go talking about love? So, this is your definition of the love adventure you told me about right? Well! I'm done escorting you on that path, David enjoy your adventure all by yourself ok.

David: Baby, you know I do love you, I admit that at times I seem not to get somethings right...
Shade interrupted: that's where you get it wrong, you mean to say "all the time"
David continues... Nevertheless, Shade I care about you, and that is why I have come to make up with you this early, I wish to make today exciting for us both. Let's put the past behind us and forge ahead.

Shade: I'm leaving here for you, when you are done... Please shut the gate firmly, I can't sit done here and talk trash with you. And please don't bother calling me on the phone your birthday wishes and pleasantries is passed acrossed already; thanks for visiting ok?

Shade left for her room in anger as she couldn't face the thought of how hurt she feels having the memory of what David has caused her recently. Two hours after the coast is clear it seem the day is going to be full of merry anyways, Mrs Gbadejo (Shade's Mum) returns from the market; with her hands full as she struggles to open the door. Kunle (Shade's twin brother) rushed to the door to help her out.

Kunle: Welcome mum! (Kunle sounding so delighted at her arrival)

Mrs Gbadejo: Thank you my baby, where is everyone? Shade nko? I know she must have gone out with her friends o, not on a day like this.. we should feel her presence more in the house.

Kunle: She is in her room, I don't think she intend going anywhere today... The look on her face when she rushed inside a while ago doesn't seem cool at all. I tried talking her about what the matter is but inshort, she shut the door to her room; I guess she needs her privacy.

Mrs Gbadejo: Let me check on her, her friends will soon be around... She is meant to have the best of mood today.

Kunle's mobile phone rings... On picking up; it's his friend from school (Dejo).

Dejo: Bro, how far now? Wetin dey shele? we go rock am today o.. I will be coming over with come group of friend including some hot chicks, we will talk better when we get over there.. Just get our regular wine brand and beer ready.

Kunle, so full of excitement replies.... ( catch the rest of the story in the next episode; CHECK THAT FROM SOURCE).
