I once went for an interview and wen I ws asked, I strtd saying 'I would humbly ask not to be paid below my colleagues, but also not above my superiors... But b4 I cld finish, d interviewer felt I ws beatin arnd d bush. Hs demeanor chngd. He wntd a figure. Sm1 once tld me it portrays d applicnt as trickish or evn dubious by tryn to manipulate ur way. Sm prefer straight forward ans. Also frm observations, u cn neva get it right by mentioning a figure. So wats d best approach? And kindly state d scenario in which either one of d option shld b used.
