Should The EFCC Screen All Political Candidates? by justin04(m): 2:08pm On Sep 09, 2006
Just wondering, who screens our political candidates?

I see a lot of known people going back home from the States(US) to run for election in Nigeria lately. Most of these people did not or do not live a decent life here and are now wanting to go become our leaders.

Also, we have heard about politicians falsifying their educational background. And lastly, people that have held offices before, how their wealth was acquired should be investigated.

My question is, should EFCC screen all political candidates or is this giving EFCC too much power?

Nairalanders,
This what i'm thinking about.
I think E.F.C.C should be allowed to investigate everybody,
seeking political position in this country because it will be bad for a
criminal to rule any part of this country.
Pls all nairalanders should support this.

EFCC should also investigate all archbishops, bishops and pastors who are riding brand new cars in Nigeria.
