55. The business of the National Assembly shall be conducted in English, and in Hausa, Ibo and Yoruba when adequate arrangements have been made therefor.

So can you please give us a break and stop heating up the polity
The owners of that name said you should call them Igbo, why not do so, but if you can't, then call them watever you like, Ibo, Yeeboo, eebo etc, it does not change who they are. What matters is what they call themselves. Don't give yourself sleepless night over nothing.

That is not true. They prefer Ibo and that is why we put it in the Constitution which they signed up to

first of all the constitution was prepered by hausa/fulani soldiers not by the Nigerian people.

Secondly: ibo is represented there as a language not as a people (eg: english is the language of the people of england).

We are IGBO & our languge is also IGBO.

These and many other reasons are why many Nigerians believe that our constitution does not represent the will of the Nigerian people.

We need a new constitution with contribution from all Nigerians. 2014 national Conferrence should adopted.

Well you need to take action to change the constitution. It remains "Ibo" till you do .That is the reality

So Achebe is not from the grassroots Why did he write "IBO" all over Things Fall Apart

I think the war did a lot of damage to the Ibo tribe. Many historical facts were lost, and even pride.

BUT IT IS COMING RATHER TOO LATE WHETHER IBO OR IGBO I THINK IT SHOULDN'T BE A HEADACHE TO ANYBODY! GO AND TELL MY GRANPA TO BE START CALLING IBO WHEN HE KNOW ONLY HOW TO CAILL IGBO.
