Akume should meet with the PDP chieftains because they ve got the bloc votes and not Tinubu that controls only SW votes.

I believe we are maturing day in day out in our political and democratic institution but I am waiting for the day zoning will be kill in the system. Although united states and UK has a 'ADVANCED and ORGANISED' form of zoning. I believe one day we too will be organised in our zoning structure. On lawan, GMB need somebody he can easily use in the house for the Good/bad. OBJ use it for the Bad but GEJ fail to win the house which is one of his failings, GMB somebody he can rely on. I pray it work this time for Nigeria. It is not about PDP, APC,GEJ, GMB, it about a prosperous, united and peaceful Nigeria

Lawan already has the support of PDP senators through David Mark. Akume and Saraki should forget this one joor.

. Hope you're aware that zoning is allowed and d immediate past senate president is not from north central alone is from d same state as Akume, so that's where Akume is having prob.

Don't listen to what shortsighted people may say about that issue. Life is like a game of chess and most experienced players while playing against an inexperienced one will sacrifice a pawn, even a rook which the shortsighted would grab happily, not knowing that the next move is a checkmate on him or a queen down!

Tinubu's ACN made strategic long sighted moves then and what did they get in return? They morphed the ACN into APC, got the majority in the house of reps, now have Sokoto state in their column and many other states and VP which a lot of people will still happily support tomorrow.

Tinubu's reasons are good and strategic I think and I hope some poor losers in Nigeria are taking a lesson in politics.
