It breaks my heart to say this but Nigerians should brace themselves up for the eventuality that this girls may never be found. Terrorism has many faces and the cost of sustaining such acts is capital intensive, waging a war against any government involves huge funds, hence the search for any possible means of funding their operations.
Funding for this organizations comed from donations, armed robbery, kidnapping and child traficking.
Initially the group started with forcing people in communities with proximity to them to donate to their course with the threat of killing their families, what they realized from this wasn't enough so they moved up to kidnapping and demanding ransome, that didn't last that long, they resorted to attacking banks and making away with huge funds and this was responsible for the closure of several banks in that area, with the closure of these banks, the next option was child trafficking, knowing fully well that the trans-sahara slave route still exist.
The chibok kidnapping was specifically targeted at the girls and by now with several attempts to free these girls looking impossible and the recent rescue of women from the sambisa forest where they are assumed to be held and they are not found among them, chance of finding these girls have gone with the wind, a slow responce to their kidnapping, did eventually turn them victims of child trafficking as a means to getting funds to support terrorism, I remain hopeful but in analystic parlace this sounds logical
