One man was killed and another injured in a fatal accident that occurred yesterday afternoon in front of St. Andrews Primary School, Oke-Baale Osogbo, Osun state.

The accident, according to an eyewitness, occurred when two motorcycles, popularly known as Okada ran into each other.

The eyewitness, who simply put his name as Stephen, told Rough Diamond Blog, that the two bikes ran into each other from opposite directions, a collusion which resulted in the riders to fall off their respective bikes. But unfortunately for one of the riders, he fell into the tires of an oncoming truck, popularly called Tiper, which crushed his head instantly.

"The two Okadas jammed each other and one of the riders fell on the floor, and a Tiper that was comming crushed the head of the man, and he died immediately with his brains seen on all over the ground," he explained.

According to further investigation by Rough Diamond Blog, one of the riders is a commercial motorcyclist, whereas the other was a worker returning from work on his bike. The worker, a middle-aged man, after colliding with the other bike, lost control of his bike and fell on the road where the oncoming truck ran over him and crushed his head, splashing his brains on all over the floor.

We further learnt that the commercial motorcyclist survived the accident, but was injured and taken to the hospital.

The identity of the dead man could not be retrieved as at time of reporting.

Men of the Federal Road Service Commission, FRSC, quickly reported to the scene and the officials of the FRSC had to clear the brains of the victim off the ground.
