Appeal Letter To President & VP Elect! by alien1: 8:36pm On May 01, 2015 |
So many words to say,but i would try to be brief. Dear President Elect, I congratulate you again for your outstanding victory and specifically for your transparent government and new era we are to experience in this country;infact my hopes are high i as a jobless graduate who has found survival and life very hard and looking at how the lower class and i especially wallow in poverty eating from hand to mouth have a reason to rejoice that finally there is a light at the end of the tunnel.I have tried my best earn the little education my struggling parents could afford, though having a certificate doesnt neccessarily qualify me for a job and looking at the country job market,i must sadly admit that from my search experience it has been who you know,i approached a couple of Nairaland members for job networking, but my search only yielded two contacts who were willing to help me,while they are trying all efforts as been futile as of present. An adage says "when the preferable isnt available, the available become preferable".Since i studied Environmental health technology 'HND'in college( College of Health),while i majored in Industrial Sanitation and Waste Disposal even though my graduating set was offered nysc exemption letter which isnt ready for collection.i approached one of my big uncle who is well to do financially.... our conversation went on.... Me-"I'm hoping you would support me in buying this brush cutter machine...i need to get something started no matter how small." Him-"Good evening. What do u need it for?" Me-"Since i have a first hand experience of how it works,am thinking of venturing into land clearing services" Him-"In PH? What contact do you have?"(Port harcourt) Me-"...no contact yet,but am currently residing in a developing area,am thinking of building contacts from there before moving into the industrial sector ......No contact, but by word of mouth, banners and bills adverts ... " Him-"Please look for an RCCG church and become useful there. You can later join their work force. God will open door from there. How much work can this do and what's the durability?" Me-"Yes i attend RCCG,but not much is going on here,my pastor is even from Ekiti.it can do alot,i want to start something am knowledable about.it can do a lot!" Him-"Find out the details of where u can get and price. Good night" Me-"Ok sir;Pls kindly watch the video i tagged you in on facebook.Goodmo rning sir" http:// www.husqvarna.co m/us/ products/ 345fr/ Him-"I've seen it but nothing about price, durabilit y and where to purchase" Me-"I wld get back to you sir;i want to get my facts right, its not easy to make N10,...am not in a rush,it might be now/nxt month when you can afford it..but am sure it would be imported...The machine in the video u watched is the very model i want, cost of its durability and multipurpose use." Me-"$780USD together with other accessories and shipping $1k should be enough" Him-"How do you intend to raise the money?" Me-"By Working" Him-"Ok then" Me-"There is no one am expecting to raise such cash for me aa pple have their own burdens and projects,i ve to work hard to acheive my own dreams......If you remember sir,i told you that i wasnt in a rush...yes.@ present $1 =N200...right!" Me-"....you should be able to afford/ i work for N20000 when the almighty BUHARI makes $1=N1.......No...i mean $1000=N1000" Him-"Ok now" Me-"*smiles.... so lets say Buhari couldnt meet up,but still tries to make $1usd = N10.....its still N10000.lets watch....Happy new month to you sir" Sir, My hope to start my own business depends on your word which is your bond during your campaign,i am appealing to you that please keep your word so that i can become somebody in life by starting this small business venture since getting a job has been difficult and i have no connection/ relative that can help me achieve this dream with the current USD to NGN exchange rate.i'm presently working 7.30am to 6.00pm that pays less than N500 for a day job @ a factory here in port-harcourt,after transport expenses and feeding i have nothing left, even though am a very young and vibrant young guy my health status cant cope with hard labour i.e working on a construction site.i cant take a teaching job because my profession is basically health sciences and moreso am not good with mathematical calculations,i didnt relocate to port harcourt to get an oil job even though i'd love to have one,but to get a good job with an intl NGO,ocean going vessel jobs etc. Thus enable me takecare of my struggling parents, sponsor my 3 siblings through school, rent an apartment because i currently sleep in a laundry shop here in p. H and change my rags because i cant boast of a pair of shoe as of present. God bless Nigeria Iluv9ja!
