The All Progressives Congress will on Tuesday have a meeting with the President-elect, Muhammadu Buhari, in Abuja. It was gathered that the APC governors both outgoing and elected, will pay Buhari a courtesy visit and at the same time make their stand known on the incoming administration. The governors according to sources, might demand the handpicking of would-be ministers in Buhari's administration. The governors are also expected to make their position known on which zone to be supported for the office of the Senate President having played a prominent role in the merger that led to the formation of the APC.

The Party's publicity Secretary, Alhaji Lai Mohammed when contacted, denied the knowledge of such meeting but however said it is not impossible. Mohammed said he has been too busy with the work of the transition committee set up by Buhari.
