The long waited change as finally comes. General Muhammadu Buharibmust hit the ground running after May 29, 2015. Thank God all the court cases by PDP against the president-elect have been withdrew. This change must not just be a slogan, but it must affect the welfare and wellbeing of Nigerians. General Buhari and his change train must think beyond the box. It not just knowing the problems of Nigeria, that is the solution but Nigeria must be fixed.
The milking cow is suffering from kwashiorkor after so many years of been suck dry by the elites. Nigerians voted for change because of your party manifesto, we believe you will take us to the promise land. APC campaign centered on fighting corruption, insecurity, job creation, power and improving infrastructures deficit etc.
Corruption has been a recurrent decimal that as decimated Nigeria. Corruption has taken over the name of Nigeria in the eye of the international community because of scam called subsidy. The massive corruption in civil and public service, energy sector and every sphere of our daily lives’ believe your administration can fight corruption when EFCC and ICPC are strengthen which will in turn reduce political bonanza and jamboree.
Your promise of fighting insecurity, without security all these sweet promises might end in futility. The professional value of our security forces must be restored; the arm force and other security apparatus must be motivated and trained them must be ever prepared to fight any form of aggression, so that sectarian violence, religion killings and ethnic cleansing will be a thing of the past.
On job creation the people’s General need to honour his words to the army of unemployed Nigeria youth .Unemployment as move from 8% in 1999 to over 30%. Your administration need to create conducive environment for private investment into the economy there by promoting medium small scale enterprises for the youth who are ready to work, encouraging and training young entrepreneur to discover their potential. Nigeria youth are hardworking we do not want to rely on the stipend you promise, but teach us how to fish.
The energy sector, this is an area where Nigerians believe need argent attention, the power sector as been like rocket science to previous administration. We Nigerians do not care the number of megawatt of electricity been generated but we just need light in our homes and for business. The public private partnership (PPP) been entered into by previous administration must be review because cabal have share our national wealth.
You promise us improve infrastructures deficit that all need attention, the decaying infrastructures across the six geo-political zone need to be fixed, the rail system, the dredging of river niger and massive construction of roads.
Education, the change you promise in the education sector must be fulfill, the six additional university of technology, giving free meal to primary school pupils, training and retraining of teachers and updating Nigeria educational curriculum to meet with countries like china, Malaysia and Brazil etc. Which are all technologically driven. It’s a right for every Nigerian child to be educated.
GMB, sai baba as you are fondly called by your admirers. You alone cannot do it, let your cabinet member know that democracy survive on accountability. Time for politics is over, sir forgive their political sin but do not forgive their economics sins. This time to stop the butchering of fat cow, the wealth stolen by cabal and mafias must be recovered. Remember your honour and integrity alone will not bring food for Nigerians, we the masses are solidly behind you because this is our own time for change.
