Gosh! The scene makes me remeber what happen to black in the novel black maria by larrysun when he stole a medicine just to save his friend. A medicine worth 1naira. Like seriously. The police are not trying at all, they should investigate,they should knw that a man would nt just steal a tuber of yam without weapon. Buhari we are looking up to u.

It is just hunger hence their action.Though they shouldn't have stolen the tubers of yam as I believe that had they asked for food or the yam seller for a tuber to eat, she would have given them some to eat.
By stealing at that age, that shows that it is in their blood.

The angry mob immediately swooped into action torturing the men who had been caught inflicting numerous injuries on them it was later on that the police had arrived at the scene and took both men to the station for justice to prevail.
The owner of the stall was questioned and she spoke to VIEW NIGERIA saying that they had come to her to price her yams and that she had refused selling since the price they had bargained didn't suit her taste and that she was going to get more yams when she heard screams of thieves only to turn and see that it was her that had been robbed. According to her she Is very happy now that she had recovered her properties and that she believes the police will handle the job well and put those men behind bars where they are meant to be.





Abeg police we know the thieves not this ones, the real thieves are among you people police officers and the politicians ur securing

I dont mind buying those tubers of yam and giving it to them. Nigerians will rather beat these men and praise the thieves who hold political posts.

Next thing you'll hear is that they've been sentenced to 60 years inprisonment if not death. Some of our judges deserve to replace these petty thives in prison
