If you have noticed on the social media, critics have been attacking the president-elect, Muhammadu Buhari, even before he is sworn in as president. Here are some of the reasons they are doing this:

1. To heighten the expectation of Nigerians so that Nigerians will become impatient with the president-elect within a short time

2. Induce the president-elect to panic and make mistakes. They're giving him options like "if you want to probe, you must start from 1960" so that he'll relax his policies and neglect some duties as president like fighting corruption, one of the reasons for which he was elected. If Buhari fails in the discharge of his duties, then Goodluck's failures as president would be vindicated or excused.

3. Some of these attacks are politically motivated. A thorough probe by the Buhari government will dock so many people at the courts on trial, the politicians will stop at nothing to fight back, claiming "persecution"

4. Oil and Resource Control. Now that its obvious some people's businesses are through with Abuja and the fraudulent empire which feeds them, they're inducing a fight for resource control so they can go back to Their regions and build a new fraudulent empire.

5. Financial Inducement: Money, they say, changes as well as motivates a man, do not underrate what lengths he will go for you as long as you credit his bank account. The new opposition (PDP), though they lost election, still have a lot of people on their payroll, and they still have the financial power to promote their cause and incite tension.

6. Give The wrong Impression. Now that Buhari is democratically elected and needs the cooperation of Nigerians to be successful, they want to dominate the media and give a false impression to the president. They're the ones who want Buhari to perform a miracle within 1 month or be regarded as a failure, they really want a soft landing for the outgoing administration at all cost.

7. He is basicly been paid back with own coin, and now on the receiving end of criticism which he freely gave. Isn't karma so sweet.

8. They are out to put him on his toes to deliver on his promises, Nigerians are not ready to be taken for granted.

9. Nigeria needs to work, he is been made to understand that the stakes are high for him. No room for him to f-up.

Nice. He already knows, except that if you watch closely, the ones that champion this call are those who Want an award for Jonathan for excellent performance.
