It's unfortunate that players who never deliver in a blue shirt (e.g. Ballack,Cashley,Joe Cole-absolute hype,utter rubbish-,and lately Drogba) are still given time to do nothing,but the coach pays the price.
With the "quality" they possess,you would think Chelsea don't need a coach.
But truth be told,Chelsea is paying the price for hurrying to be successful.But we all know:success is planned for,not rushed.

Another thing Chelsea has failed to do is invest in the future.Youth team players rarely ever make the first team.
Squads like Barcelona,United and to a lesser extent, Arsenal will continue to be in the headlines for all the right reasons because even if they don't push youth team players into the first team,they invest in young players.Look at United. Tevez-24,Rooney,23,Ronaldo-22/23.That's the nucleus of the squad.Then you have Anderson,,Nani,The Da Silva Brothers,Wellbeck,all pushing to get first team places,all of who can get a lot better.
But we've seen it all before.Giggs rolled back the years on Sunday with his goal against West Ham.Scholes is still as relevant as he was 10 years ago to the club,and better than most attacking midfielders in the EPL today.Investing in youth,even gambling in them,pays dividends in the long run.Ask United.

My point is:this clownish circus going on at the Bridge goes beyond Scolari.You build a winning team.Titles may be bought,but the streak will not last long.Ask Milan of the mid-90s.
Whoever you hire will get the same mandate from Abramovich.So the story isn't likely to change all that much.Be prepared for another round of managerial musical chairs.
