Students troop out as Unilorin hold manifesto for aspirants.

It was a glamorous day as Unilorin students troop out to pledge their support for their candidates in the school forthcoming Students Union Election.

The Student Union Building(SUB), formally known as Kaduna Nzeogwu Building, was filled to the brim as the students converge at the venue for this year student union election's manifesto. All aspirants were in attendance to tell the entire populace there mission, as they humbly solicit for their support.

The programme which was anchored by the Unilorin Electoral Committee, started around 4.p.m as 3 minutes were allocated to each aspirant to express their ambition. The Chairman of the Electoral committee, Mr. Ogedengbe urges the students to fully participate in this year election, as this will give them the opportunity to vote the candidate of their choice.

Meanwhile, the e-voting election will be coming up on tuesday, 19th of May, 2015.

Sorry to digress and pls this is not to show off but the physical structure of a learning environment is a critical variable in effecting student morale and learning. We need to start holding our leaders accountable.

How I wish our grand parents clinging to public offices will give these kind of youths a chance to also bring their positive contribution in building our dear country.
