The First Lady, Patience Jonathan on Thursday called on Nigerians not to weep for her and President Goodluck Jonathan over the loss of March 28, 2015 presidential election, reports New Mail. Rather, she urged Nigerians to thank God on their behalf for seeing them through throughout their years in Aso Rock. Patience Jonathan, who was speaking at a farewell/award ceremony organised for her by the National Council of Women Societies, (NCWS) noted that President Jonathan has achieved what no Nigerian has accomplished She said there is nothing her husband was looking for having been deputy-governor, a governor, vice-president, acting-president and president. She stated that not all Presidents and their wives, who entered Aso Rock came out together. http://www.metronaija.com/2015/05/first-lady-begs-nigerians-not-to-weep.html |

Didn't Nigerians remove him from office? If anyone should be weeping it should be you, because you contributed to the enemies he got for himself while messing up with our resources... You help him fail now you want to exhonerate yourself? 1 Like |

Jonathan lost the March 28 poll but he won the fame. He's moving from being President of Nigeria to the enviable status of Global Statesman, African Democratic Icon, and he's the frontrunning Candidate for Both Mo Ibrahim award for Leadership (2015) and 2015 Nobel Peace Prize. He's the undisputed number one statesman in Nigeria and on equal status with Kofi Anan. He is in the League of Tony Blair, Jimi Carter and Anan. Supporters of Jonathan and the Good people of Nigeria have every reason to celebrate. God Bless Outgoing President Jonathan Ebele Azikiwe Jonathan Africa Most Democratic President 1 Like 1 Share |
