The Minister of power, Chinedu Ositadinma Nebo commissioned the NDPHC/NIPP Oke-Aro 330/132/33kv transmission substation today. The minister of power represented the Vice President of Nigeria, Namadi Sambo in commissioning the power station.

Prior to the advent of Oke Aro substation, there were 3nos 330/132/33kV substations in Lagos. One of these three, Ikeja West 330/132/33kV Substation which was the major marshalling point for all power plant inflows into Lagos had become vey congested with limited space for safe expansion capacity for increases flows into Lagos and environs...........details coming soon @
