Akpabio should be blamed for the deaths of all the people that died in the past 6yrs which this belated hospital could have saved if it was completed in time 6yrs ago. it was supposed to be built under 2yrs it took him 8yrs to deliver.

The only reason am happy is that its not an abandoned project like the uyo convention centre after sinking in billions of Naira into the project. Akpabio may fool some of you but not me. I am happy his days in Akwa Ibom government are numbered.

Five hundred, out of the over 4,000 life-touching projects of Governor Godswill Akpabio’s administration in Akwa Ibom State are slated for commissioning beginning Match 6.

A statement by the state Commissioner for Information and Communications, Aniekan Umanah, made available to our correspondent, indicated that the commissioning, which is expected to be carried out by Akpabio, will be proceeded by town hall meetings to interact with the people from the area slated for each day.

“The town hall meetings of His Excellency, Governor Godswill Akpabio, with Akwa Ibom people, across the 10 Federal Constituencies begins on Wednesday, March 5, 2014 at the Eket Council Hall, Eket”, it read.

As a believer in participatory democracy, Umanah further said, Akpabio, apart from briefing the people on the achievements and progress so far made by his government, looked forward to using the meetings as veritable platforms to get feedbacks from the people, on the policies and actions of his administration since 2007.

He called on the people of Akwa Ibom to show appreciation for the participatory approach of Akpabio to governance by coming out en mass to bare minds on issues, as all members of the State Executive Council (SEC) would be on hand at each venue to provide appropriate answers to any question that may arise.

You most definitely be a local champion! How will a sane person compare what Akpabio did in akwa ibom to what Fashola did in Lagos? Lagos is 1million years ahead of akwa ibom in terms of development, almost every area in Lagos is going through one development or another. Every area have been touched in terms of development projects in Lagos which have the largest population & largest motorable roads network. Let forget politics & face reality; akpabio's achievement can only be said to be the best that PDP can lay claim to but APC has at least 3 APC governors/States that did better than the best PDP governor's & states. It better you get your facts right as akwa ibom receive a lot from the federal government & they have very little to show for it. I will rest my case by telling you that the total GDP of APC States before the election was by far higher than that of the entire PDP states combined even with all the our oyel(oil) that you people are known to chorus every time.
