which children's account is the best in any of the banks,My wife and i is considering opening an account for our newly born baby.which account do u suggest and why,I KNow fidelity operates sweeta acct,intercontinental operates happy saver and so on.mummies and daddies in d house should respond.

Fidelity Bank's Sweeta account for Children is very good.

I have been operating it for my three children since 2007. I pay in dividend warrants from shares I bought for them and other cheques in their names into the accounts. I sign on their behalf and withdraw from the accounts if need be.

If you wish by 18 years of age each can start operating the accounts on their own with a change of signature.

Fidelity bank is good for your baby. Infact it is the best

Just your child's passport picture, a utility bill reciept ( NEPA or Water bill) and may be anything to identify yourself since you are the one that will likely operate the account for him/her for now.

It will take less than one hour in any Fidelity bank branch to open the account. I dont know much about the happy savers of Intercontinental.
