EFCC Re-arraigns Sylva For Alleged N2.45b Fraud by ajiolaoluwa(m): 10:36am On May 19, 2015
THE Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) yesterday re-arraigned former Bayelsa State Governor Timipre Sylva before a Federal High Court in Abuja for his alleged involvement in about N2.45 billion fraud.
Sylva was said to have committed the offence between October 2009 and February 2010 while serving as governor.
His re-arraignment yesterday was informed by the retirement of the former trial judge, Justice Adamu Bello.
Sylva pleaded not guilty when he was arraigned before Justice Evoh Chukwu yesterday on a six-count charge.
Sylva also has a criminal charge pending against him before another judge of the same Federal High Court in Abuja, Justice Ahmed Mohammed.

After such a long time... Like I said, this year is going to be interesting. The best decision Nigerians made was to vote in Buhari. Now everyone is sitting up, everyone is busy trying to explain what they did and did not do
