I remember how our home used to be loud with my mother's cries. She would scream loud to call people to her rescue.
My siblings and I were just kids, I was the oldest and I was just Nine years and really didn't understand what was happening.
She would scream continuously for help, and the following morning, her Face would be battered and swollen. It went on for years and I grew up hating my father for it.
The last time it happened, it was my father and his sister beating her together. They even dragged her on the floor and my Aunt kept raining abuses on her, "serves you right, you witch" she said continuously
