Ogun Set To Return Schools To Original Owners by Nobody: 7:36am On Feb 13, 2009
Ogun State committee on return of schools to their original owners, which was inaugurated by Governor Gbenga Daniel, has submitted its report to the government.


The government has also promised to look at the report and take steps on its implementation. Speaking during the presentation of the report, chairman of the committee, Professor Idowu Sobowale, said the committee recommended the return of 33 schools, adding that one of the schools required further clarification.


The committee, according to a statement by the Information Officer to the Governor, Mr. Ayokunle Ewuoso, was inaugurated on November 5 by the governor to examine the desirability or otherwise of returning public secondary schools to their original owners.
